Our telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for a junior SAS developer to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of experience in this field.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Interfaces and processes (including stored procedure and queries) using various ETL and SQL tools and technologies
• Analysis, development, testing and maintenance of complex queries and procedures
• Translate business requirements into technical documents to build or redesign existing procedures
• Analyze workflow charts and diagrams and translate operations requirements into technical designs to map and automate data load from source systems to data warehouses and downstream applications
• Troubleshoot and performance tune the data ingress and egress process and build internal controls and checks to maintain data quality
• Work with business analysts to understand the business requirements for data modelling and data context
• Support the current production version and help investigate issues and identify root causes and get it fixed as soon as possible
• Document data mapping diagrams and data dictionaries
• Deploy new upgrades and releases in production

Key Competencies and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Experience in the design, development, debugging, and supporting of complex data integration
• Warehouse, ETL, and application integration solutions experience
• SAS developing experience
• SAS architecture and programming experience
• Experience in Microstrategy Tool is a strong asset
• In-depth knowledge of SQL processes and stored procedures
• Experience with Teradata is a strong asset
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Background in a customer interfacing role
• SAS DI is a great asset
• SAS certifications
• Bilingual, French/English, an asset
