The Parks & Recreation department is looking for a seasonal labourer to work for the summer at Pipestone Creek Campground. Assisting the Campground Park Host, this position is responsible to clean and maintain washrooms, mowing, campsite maintenance and other outdoor labour work, as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable driver's abstract
• Experience operating lawn maintenance equipment
• Physically capable for general labour duties
• Ability to deal with members of the public in a professional manner
• Willingness to undertake training in order to meet operational requirements.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently and still meet County safety standards

The successful applicant will be a team player with good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. You will be a self-starter who can contribute positively to the team environment.

This position is seasonal until October 13th, 2023. The hours are 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am 4:30 pm, with some flexibility to work weekends as required.
