Security (Goderich area) Job at Treasure of Orchids Services
Full Time Security Guard position (Competitive hourly rate + Benefits package) in the Goderich area, near Amberley.
Must have good customer service skills and experience working within security-response, with the successful candidate possessing the following minimum qualifications:
· Up to date/valid Security license issued by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Correctional Services;
· Up to date/valid CPR/First Aid certificate;
· Full G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract;
· Excellent customer service skills;
· Mechanical aptitude;
· Reliable and punctual.
The successful candidate should be experienced and able to perform the following job functions:
· Patrol areas and respond to alarms, threats, and emergencies in a timely manner
· Identify and report any security issues
· Provide a professional level of customer service
· Monitor CCTV and various security systems
Maintain a basic understanding of mechanical equipment and provide basic troubleshooting and resolution efforts with Facility Services
· Follow emergency communication procedures, site protocols and post orders
· Computer literate and able to write daily, shift and incident reports
· The successful candidate will need to be willing and able to be scheduled into full time continental 12 hour shifts, day/night shift (weekly/weekends). We offer $20.00/hr + Benefits package
