Are you an experienced Security Officer or Security Mobile Patrol Driver with a valid BC Security Worker’s License looking to work with a dedicated, Vancouver Island-based team?

Security Guard - General Responsibilities:

• Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift;
• Ensure client property and personnel are secure and follow site-specific instructions;
• Conduct foot patrols, including standing and walking for long periods of time;
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public;
• Provide a security presence in various settings;
• Escalating any safety concerns to store management;
• React and resolve any emergency situations as directed;

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A valid BC Security Worker’s License is required;

• Full time availability: 10:30-1730 and 1630-2130 must be available weekends

• Ability to use computers and smartphones with ease;

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing;

• Ability to write clear and concise incident reports;

• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc;

• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;

• Outstanding dress and deportment;
• Previous retail security is considered a strong asset;
