Senior Digital Project Manager Job at Affinity Bridge
About Us
Affinity Bridge is a Vancouver-based digital agency focused on creating positive social change in the world. Since 2005, we have been supporting a wide variety of clients working on social justice, environmental sustainability, education, and healthcare.
We Are Looking For:
Affinity Bridge is seeking a senior level project manager who enjoys building client relationships, questioning and synthesizing client and stakeholder business needs, and leading teams in the design and development of solutions that engage audiences. You will be joining our fully remote team in the Pacific Time Zone. We're looking for a values-aligned, highly-organized individual who understands technology and can apply it to our purpose-driven clients’ project outcomes. If you are a senior project manager who thrives when working in the online space, enjoys a dynamic environment, and grasps new ideas quickly, we would like to hear from you.
About You
You'll work directly with our agency’s UX strategists, designers and developers in partnership with a diverse range of non-profit and social impact organizations to manage client expectations, as well as keep budgets and timelines on track. You have excellent relationship management skills to keep teams connected, deliver projects on time, and develop lasting client partnerships. You can map out and successfully manage projects, seeing both the forest and the trees - and knowing when each deserves attention. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Agile methodology. In your role, you will be responsible for understanding the client’s needs and collaborating with the internal team on delivery, while also managing scope and sprints.
Skills and Requirements:
- A natural communicator with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- A great project lead, team player and collaborator
- Committed to providing exceptional client support
- 5 years’ experience in digital project management
- Competency with Drupal and WordPress CMS to support projects and our clients through quality assurance and user acceptance testing, and training
- A resourceful critical thinker who can adapt, but likes to start with a solid plan
- Familiarity with common best practices in relation to website design and development
- Experience running projects with small and large budgets, both simple and complex
- Comfortable facilitating meetings, workshops and other stakeholder engagements
- Familiar with Agile project management methodology; certification is an asset but not required
- A proactive team player who can predict and address issues before they arise
- Proficiency with Google Suite, particularly Docs, Sheets and Slides
Nice to have skills:
- Familiarity with the role of a product owner
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Familiarity with best practices in SEO
- Experience with branding engagements
- Lived experience and cultural knowledge to better serve our Indigenous-led and POC-led clientele and engagements that serve traditionally underrepresented groups
Why join us?
- We support knowledge sharing, and run regular agency learning labs on topics ranging from technology to self-care to project showcases
- We believe in balancing our work lives and personal lives to support our mental and physical health
- We offer extended health and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid volunteer time
- We provide annual professional development funding
- We are committed to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion and run monthly meetings and workshops dedicated to relevant topics and identifying actions we can take to promote anti-racism, anti-oppression and decolonization
- We are committed to diversifying our team to amplify different perspectives and represent the people and voices from across the communities where we live and work
- We provide paid time off during our holiday closure from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day in addition to vacation days, and support our team members when taking time off for cultural or religious holidays
