Our client in the IT industry is looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to deliver on a range of business solutions across our client landscape; this position is a fully remote within Canada. Our target consultant is a professional who enjoys developing and monitoring network security in a variety of end to end projects.
Our client's mission is to help organizations achieve their best by providing technology solutions and services that make them more productive. Their offerings focus on professional services as well as managed services, with specialities in Microsoft enterprise technology platforms.
Skills and qualifications:
- VMware ESX, vCenter administration, upgrade, planning, configuration
- Windows Server
- General Provisioning, configuration, administration
- Active Directory, Group Policies
- Update management
- Print Server Management
- Windows Clustering (File services, SQL Always On, etc)
- Exchange, including hybrid Exchange
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS desktop farm, RemoteApp)
- Windows Desktop
- 3rd tier support (troubleshooting, etc)
- SCCM Management (applications, system administration, upgrades)
- Endpoint encryption (bitlocker)
- Networking
- General networking concepts, particularly pertaining to VMware configuration
- Basic security concepts, including working knowledge of firewalls & configuration to allow secure communication between systems
- Site to site VPN
