Shop Labour Job at Continental Cartage Inc.
Continental Cartage a division of Landtran Systems Inc is currently seeking a Shop and Yard Labour to join our team in Acheson, AB.
The average work week will be Monday to Friday , however some weekends and evenings might be required based on business needs. There is a Boot allowance after 90 days.
Position Details:
- General Labour in our Shop and Yard
- Maintaining the Yard and Shop some of the duties but not limited are garbages, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, snow shoveling and grass cutting
- Various levels of manual labour in our transport shop
- At times exterior cleaning for the transport trucks
- Other duties as assigned by the Fleet Manager
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Physically fit
- Ability to bend, lift and crouch
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Intermediate running Forklifts, Skid Steer, Loaders and hand tools certification is an asset
- Mechanically inclined
- Engage and build relationships within the team
- Self motivated and can think outside the box
