JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Site plan and Grading Coordinator for One Riser Designs, you will oversee the siting, grading and site plan development for the office. Your main duties will include; creating individual lot grading plans for various subdivision builders, developing site plan lot fabric for new potential projects and carrying-out building/lot yield studies at the request of clients. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working in the residential grading field, is well organized, has excellent communication skills and is very familiar with municipal zoning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)

• Development of subdivision lot grading plans for single detached, semi-detached and townhomes
• Review of municipality zoning requirements
• Site plan and lot fabric development
• Collaboration with outside consultants as required (Civil Engineer, Arborists, Landscape Architect, Municipalities etc.)
• Collaboration with internal office staff and clients, via meetings, phone, email etc..
• Monthly invoicing for all projects and clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience creating subdivision lot grading plans for single detached, semi-detached and townhomes
• Knowledge of municipal/conservation standards throughout the Greater Toronto Area
• Experience coordinating with Arborists, Landscape Architects and Civil Engineers
• Knowledge of public and private servicing requirements
• Experience with zoning by-laws and restrictions
• Well-informed with the Site Plan Application process
• Able to read and interpret site servicing plans
• Strong computer skills and proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience or background in Civil Engineering or Architecture
