Tidewater Midstream is seeking, safety-minded Sulphur Remelt Operators. The ideal candidate will be experienced in heavy equipment operation. Sulphur Remelt Operators are responsible for the safe and effective operation of loader and conveyor systems as well as sulphur remelt pit pumps and piping systems in completion of projects in Ram River. This is a full time position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Actively participate in training programs
• Partake in monthly safety meetings
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly operations checks
• Operate front end wheel loaders and conveyor systems
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the day
• Operate sulphur remelt pit pumps and piping systems
• Assist in loading of Unit trains
• Forming liquid sulphur to slate sulphur

Qualifications/Competencies

• Valid and acceptable drivers license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing
• Heavy equipment (loader) operation experience
• 4th Class Power Engineer
• Valid and current safety tickets including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG
• A strong attention to detail, communication skills and a profound ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
• Ability to trouble shoot process operations
• Construction Safety Training Systems .09 (CSTS)
• Valid Driver’s License

• Fall Protection (Full course)
