Finance Analyst

Reports to: Director Finance

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

· Prepare periodic financial results, forecast and annual budget, including variance analysis and financial packs.

· Perform cost and margin analysis for multiple products.

· Prepare monthly journal entries such as sales, cost accruals, depreciation etc. journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results.

· Prepare and review various general ledger reconciliations for accounts as assigned. Ensure sub-ledgers and suspense accounts are reviewed on a regular basis.

· Perform Inventory Analytics articulating write off risks, slow moving items, assess reserve requirements, and coordinate/facilitate inventory counts

· Develops and implements Financial Systems and reporting improvements that enhance business performance and/or improves management decision-making.

· Assist in the development of financial models and presentations to support business decisions on various ad-hoc analysis and reporting

· Respond to ad-hoc information requests and provide finance support to other departments such as operations, marketing and sales.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

· Final year student or graduate in good standing of a professional accounting association (CPA).

· 5 years or more progressive experience in financial reporting and cost accounting.

· Big4 experience will be preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Manage and organize multiple work activities to meet established deadlines and priorities.

· Expert experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.

This individual will be dealing with information sensitive in nature and will be expected to follow policies pertaining to confidentiality.
