The mandate of the Credit Reference Data Services team is to provide our clients globally a seamless credit onboarding experience, by managing, analyzing and processing client and credit data across TD Securities trading and credit risk systems in accordance to credit agreements. Job Description

In this role, you will:
  • Process, manage and maintain client and credit limit data in various systems for new and existing clients using a mix of automated and manual processes
  • Verify relevant AML, KYC and regulatory requirements for new clients as per TDS AML policy
  • Review credit agreements and documents for TDS clients and ensure credit limits are accurate programmed in various source systems
  • Ensure sound understanding of Capital Market products (e.g. Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Derivatives)
  • Understand and maintain automated solutions, terminal emulation tools & bulk data setup capabilities that are used to meeting our business needs
  • Providing technical expertise on system tools and end user computing (EUCs) and understanding of latest trends and how they play a role in the data space
  • Seek opportunities for automation
  • Passionate about leveraging emerging technology to simplify processes
  • Curious about the emerging field of Robotic Process Automation, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Achieve an exceptional standard of error free processing by ensuring accurate inputting of data to mitigate risk to TD (e.g. reputational, financial, regulatory, operational risk)
  • Achieve business objectives by completing business processes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality
  • Analyze and resolve exceptions from various reconciliation processes and automations
  • Respond and resolve customers' concerns using standard procedures and escalating non-standard activities, as necessary
  • Undertaking project tasks as required and ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Put forward creative, innovative ideas to further streamline processes and simplify the way we operate
  • Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness as well as keeping everyone up-to-date on the status of routine activities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate TD Framework and shared commitments in daily activities

Job Requirements

  • University or college degree with relevant experience
  • Technical expertise regarding analyzing and updating existing tools and datasets (Excel)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks
  • Ability to deliver legendary service while adhering to strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
  • A go-getter who can exercise initiative and ability to handle several tasks and changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands on knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook)
  • Prior client setup and SSI knowledge would be an asset
