Service Pro Industries Ltd. primarily services and installs residential and commercial garage doors and security gates in the BC southern interior.
Position: Technician/Installer Assistant
Description:
This is a field technician/installer assistant role with a primary goal of:
- assisting quality service and installations of door and operator systems
Primary Duties:
- assist with door & operator installations
- assist with door & operator repairs & service
- material transport to/from job site
- complete job close-out documentation
- send and receive information through email by mobile device
- communicate effectively with office staff and customers
- various other duties as required
Required Experience:
Suitable candidates with relevant experience with be given preference. In particular, welding/fabricating, Experience in the door/gate industry preferred. Ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years working experience. Alternately, candidates with welding/fabricating or electrical trades experience and/or certification will be considered.
Other Requirements:
Personal cell phone, clean driving record, references. An employment contract is required to accept this position, which includes a 1 year industry non-compete clause and 2 year industry non-solicitation clause.
Compensation:
$28-32 per hour, 5 days per week, approx 8 hours per day
Plus Tool & Boot Allowance
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
Experience:
- trades: 2 years (preferred)
- welding: 1 year (preferred)
- electrical: 1 year (preferred)
- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
