We now have immediate openings for Ready Mix Truck Drivers to work out of our plant in Truro, Nova Scotia.

You’ll bring to the job:

• A willingness to learn. No concrete experience necessary. We teach the technical requirements.
• A valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• A focus on customer service using interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented, and commitment to quality standards.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving and adhering to safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving in a safe and courteous manner to and from job sites.
• Monitoring the product to ensure it meets specifications upon delivery.
• Adding products to the mix manually, when required.
• Unloading the truck mixer of product under the direction of the customer.
• Performing various administrative duties including submitting delivery slips to customers, collecting payments for deliveries, and others tasks.
• Dealing with customers and the general public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintaining a clean ready-mix truck and mixer, both inside and out.
• Performing necessary pre-trip inspections, ensuring the unit meets all safety guidelines.
• Maintaining an accurate log book.
