Reporting to the Travel Manager of Operations and Process improvements, we are looking for a Virtual Travel Agent to support our Atlantic Travel Team! Our Virtual agent will provide backend web fulfillment support. If you are a positive outgoing person, are tech savvy with travel accounting knowledge, we would like to meet with you.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Helping our in-office agents with TST, GDS & client questions
Facilitate all web bookings
Travel overflow triage - including Insurance sales
Providing after hours assistance to our travelling clients (Q3/Q4 rollout)
GDS/Ticketing Assistance
Directly supporting the Travel Manager of operations and process improvement

Qualifications
What has made you who you are:
Sales minded and a self-starter to ensure greater efficiencies
You embrace travel technology applications and software including Galileo/Apollo and Travelport Cruise
Your in-depth knowledge of International travel products, destinations and services is second to none
Communication is your thing; you are a keen listener and can deliver a message clearly and succinctly
Bilingual considered an asset

- Travel agent experience preferred
- Travel accounting knowledge
