PRINCIPAL FOCUS:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for various tasks and duties related to the store warehouse. These may include: accurate, timely, damage-free shipping and receiving, as well as other tasks such as stocking, tracking of product, picking and packing of orders as required, and ensuring proper stocking of merchandise.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

May perform any of (but not limited to) the tasks below, using computerized inventory system to access and update data:

• Receiving - Receives, unpacks, inspects, scans, stores and/or delivers merchandise or materials, identifies missing stock and completes appropriate documentation
• Shipping - Picks, checks, scans, packs, addresses and loads merchandise
• Picking - Fulfills order by picking inventory and packing for shipment
• May work independently or with a team
• Inventory counts and bin scans on a regular basis, reporting and acting on results
• Maintenance of safe and clean warehouse and work areas at all times
• Stock shelves, ensures stock is adequate and properly presented
• As directed, sets out displays and demo merchandise according to policy, procedures and display plans
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work quickly and accurately with others and alone
• Task-oriented self starter who is deadline focused
• Polite and customer (internal & external) focused
• Safety focused
• Competent with PC and Microsoft Suite is preferred
• Previous exposure to ERP systems is preferred
• Previous Shipping & Receiving experience is preferred
• NOTE: No forklift / Raymond-reach type duties
