About you: We are looking for an individual who possesses experience in building websites and has an exceptional ability to create eye-catching designs, which will increase exposure and lead to growth of the business. You should be someone that is comfortable with coding and problem-solving bug issues with websites. We want this individual to also take pride in their creative abilities to utilize graphic design software’s to enhance images and videos. Part of this creative aspect will involve filming and editing content that can be used for our company websites. Essentially, we are looking for a storyteller; someone who has the technical and creative skills to help bring our ideas to life.

Duties:

• Build and design websites for WHIMASE group of companies
• Responsible for the design, development, construction, testing, delivery, implementation and maintenance of websites and web applications for the WHIMASE group of companies
• Optimize current web functions
• Modernize and improve existing properties
• Create and optimize content for the Website using a variety of graphics, databases, animation, and other software
• Design motion graphic posts for social media
• Film and edit videos for website or social media use
• Work with marketing team to design brochures, banners, and other promotional materials

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science / Web Design / Graphic Design or any other related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience building websites
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (WordPress)
• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite of applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illistrator, etc.)
• Experience using graphic design software
• Bonus points for having Filming and video editing skills
• Experience collaborating with teams to analyze and contribute ideas to product discussions
• Ability to receive and apply constructive criticisms from peers and Managers
