Shift Rotation - 5, 5, 4
5 days on day shift (6am - 6pm)
5 days off
4 days on night shift (6pm - 6am) + shift premium

What would be your responsibilities?
You would be responsible for assisting with the treatment process by performing a variety of manual tasks within the treatment facility.
We need you to:
- Prepare treated poles, tagging, I.D. tags.
- Secure and unsecure product to the treating carts.
- Opening and closing cylinders doors.
- Prepare for changing charges i.e. cart placement, Clean up – as per TRD.
- Other manual tasks may be required i.e. preparing Dricon treatment, shoveling Dricon chemical, cart preparation, etc.
- Barcoding.
- Operate automated pressure treating systems as required, including testing, mixing, plant control operation and system monitoring.
- Pressure treat product to specifications when required.
- Maintain daily plant checklist and report items of concern to Production Supervisor and maintenance department as applicable.
- Operate and monitor kilns and heating chambers as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of Wood/lumber product is an asset (i.e. length, width, dimensions)
- Ability to work in a timely manner
- Excellent coordination skills
- Ability to use hand tools i.e. barding tools, side cutters, etc.
- Attention to detail (to follow safety guidelines)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to follow signed S.O.P
- Basic computer skills – Windows
- Basic Math Skills
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum one year of related experience, an asset
