Summary

The Restock Driver is responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for product transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. The Restock Driver must be able to operate and navigate through tablets and scanners using the company WMS. The position is responsible for operating machinery following safety rules and procedures. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Canada Employee Handbook.

Compensation & Hours

$17.50 per hour, Monday-Friday, Full-Time, (Hourly Pay)

Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (hours vary due to business needs), Overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude.
  • Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role. I.e. Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (cart) and Pallet Jack.
  • Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
  • Effectively utilize / operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department. I.e. RF scanners, tablets and company WMS.
  • Must be capable of generating and printing re-stock, case pick and transfer batches utilizing Corp site as directed.
  • Retrieve inventory from up-stock locations and deliver to the designated restock area for the put away process to be completed.
  • Retrieve inventory from up-stock and deliver to the designated area for Case Pick, allowing for the completion of customer orders.
  • Retrieve inventory from from both floor locations and up-stock for product transfers as directed and deliver to the designated area for staging and checking.
  • Perform put away function utilizing the RF scanner.
  • Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirement. CPH - Cartons per Hour.
  • Perform other activities as assigned.
  • Safely operate the warehouse equipment.
  • Follow directions of supervisors and managers.
  • Stay busy.
  • Maintain a safe warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse.

Physical Demands

In performing the job of Inventory team member, one must stand and walk for 8+ hour shifts. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of picking cars and other warehouse machinery.

Working Environment

The job will be performed entirely in the S&S Canada warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
