Mallet Millwork Inc. is located in North York, ON. MMI is proudly serving commercial, institutional, industrial, hospitality, and healthcare markets since 1989. We create custom architectural casework, millwork, panelling, as well as loose and perimeter store fixtures.

We focus on manufacturing custom architectural millwork with wide variety of finishes including solid wood and wood veneers, plastic laminates, glass, acrylic solid surface, and stone / quartz.

Job description
Responsibilities / Qualifications

• manufacturing high quality goods from a variety of materials including solid woods, veneers, plywood, MDF, particle board, plastic laminates
• candidates are ideally to have 3-years of experience in cabinet making
• ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
• measure and mark outlines on parts
• confident operation and set up of a variety of woodworking hand tools
• fit parts together / assembling using screws, nails / staples, glue and clamps
• laminating of wood veneer and plastic laminate
• install variety of cabinet hardware, including handles, drawer slides, hinges, pull-outs, locks, etc.
• must be able to lift cabinets
• ability of operating woodworking machinery is a strong asset
• knowledge how to work with acrylic solid surfaces is an asset
• experience in CNC router programming (AlphaCAM) is a strong asset. In-shop training is available
• attention to details
• ability to work individually or as a team member
• reliable and hard worker
