Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a Garbage Truck Driver at our Vernon district. We provide excellent training and give our drivers a great paying career with benefits and pension. As a Spare Garbage Truck Driver, you will be learning and working on all lines of business.. You will ensure that the waste collection is safely transported to the landfill. This job is very physical and you work outside in all weather conditions.

- $5000 Sign- On Bonus
- $26.68/HR

- Be home daily!
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM Start Time Daily
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspections
- Adherence to all traffic laws and our company safe operating procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class 3 driver’s license
- Clean CVOR and Abstract
- 1-2 years of Class 3 driving experience
- Roll off and/or Front-End experience an asset
