QUALIFICATIONS
MBBS/ MD Doctor of Medicine (Essential) verified by Medical Council Canada as evidenced by ECA report (must be attached).
Should have an active physicianapply.ca account
Occupational Health / Occupational Medicine certificate (verified by MCC or WES ECA) will be an advantage
Recognized Certification in Mental health from Canada or USA will be an advantage
Current ACLS certification
Fluent in English with IELTS score above 7
More than 5years active medical practice experience will be an advantage

LOCATION: Red Deer, Alberta. Can reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
(required).

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Clinical Assistant (an experienced International Medical Graduates ("IMG") can apply) to join our Clinical team. As the successful candidate, you will work closely with our physicians and staff to enhance patient care and their experience. Your will work under the supervision of the physician.

POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinical Assistant will work under full supervision of a Physician daily
The Clinical Assistant will triage the walk-in patients
The Clinical Assistant will perform a thorough assessment of patients prior to physician review
Working knowledge of EMR is beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided

SALARY: $16–$17 an hour

START DATE: ASAP

POSITION TYPE / DURATION: Full Time Position, Permanent. Day
8hr Shift, 9.00am to 5.00pm 4 days a week. No weekends.
