Position Summary:

This is a Full Time Permanent Position -- Monday to Friday, Day Shift. Available for occasional overtime for critical shipments including weekends.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label then ship orders using various courier companies (same day, overnight and booking orders)
• Load the van – putting goods in order of the route and ensuring goods are secure
• Organize invoices according to route
• Deliver goods in a safe and timely manner, including obtaining signatures from the individuals who receive the goods
• Good communication and customer relation skills
• Bring back returns from customers
• Provide clear communication and ability to convey important information
• Accountable to ensure goods are delivered to the correct customers
• Vehicle inspection, both pre- and post-delivery
• Keep the delivery van clean, organized, fueled,
• Inform Warehouse Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager of deviation of routes or problems or delays
• Understanding of maps of designated delivery area, knowledge of routes
• Excellent attendance and reliability are critical
• With minimum supervision, demonstrated ability to solve practical problems

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· High school education

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to competently drive delivery van or truck

· Valid Tow motor operation certificate preferred

· Fluent in English

· Ability to work in a warehouse environment

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights up to 30 feet

· Understanding of WHMIS, transportation of hazardous goods, shipping and receiving procedures

· Experience in inventory management an asset

· Reliable, demonstrate commitment, very good attendance required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$21.50 per hour
