Goldie Hound is a force-free dog walking and pet care company. We are a growing business looking to hire a part-time pet sitter. Gentle handling, redirection, love, and patience is our jam.

• All the dogs are regular clients and properly vetted.
• All dogs need to be up to date with all mandatory vaccinations.
• We take no major behaviour issues only “happy-go-lucky” types.
• Transportation of a max of 6 dogs to walk for 1 hour at a nearby trail.

AVAILABILITY:

• We are looking for someone who is available Monday to Friday from 9 am- 4 pm (no exceptions).
• We also provide cat visits that fall over the weekdays and weekends.
• You must live in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge.
• Access to a reliable car with a clean driving record.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with animals.
• Comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes.
• You are an independent individual who can follow directions.
• Being in direct contact with the clients and listening to their needs. Open communication.
• You are able to provide proof of a clean criminal record (and are bondable).
• Believe in positive reinforcement and force-free.
• A cellphone for texting, taking photos and using an online app for your schedule.
• You enjoy the outdoors and all weather conditions and have suitable clothing, so you stay warm and dry in inclement weather.
• Happy to have your car get dirty.
