Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting an Electronics Engineering Technologist to join the team at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
As an Electronics Engineering Technologist, you will perform facilities technology work related to the operation of microprocessor-controlled systems and equipment to ensure that the patient environment is appropriately controlled and maintained.
Specific duties include:
- Installing, testing, and calibrating electronic and computer-controlled systems and equipment
- Performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on electronic and computer-controlled systems and equipment
- Reading and interpreting detailed manuals and schematic circuitry to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex system and equipment issues
- Estimating costs of projects and providing technical input on construction/redevelopment projects requiring new electronic controls and equipment
- Working collaboratively to support other tradespersons and outside contractors on the electronic/instrumentation components of equipment
- Providing technical assistance, instructions, and training to other clinical users

Who you are
You are certified or awaiting certification as a Professional Technologist by the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (NBSCETT). You are a graduate of an accredited two-year Electronics Engineering Technology program or a two-year Industrial Control Technology program. You have written and spoken competence in English.
