Job Details

The Financial Assistant plays a key role in HVE’s overall success by being a key member of our Finance Team. A successful candidate would enjoy working closely with Medical Professionals and their colleagues.

HVE Healthcare Assessments requires a finance assistant to support our company’s financial operations by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. Candidates with attention to detail, strong communication skills and proficiency in computer software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Word and Excel can be a good fit for this role.

Job Description:

  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the finance department, including bookkeeping, data entry, and record keeping
  • Verifying and reconciling accounts and other financial records
  • Communicating with internal departments and external clients to address financial-related inquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with HVE financial policies and procedures
  • Perform various administrative duties as required for the finance department

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary degree in finance or accounting.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reports to: Team Lead Finance and/or Senior Finance Manager

Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Flexible work hours required as determined by Manager)
