Currently, we are assisting our client in the Milton area with their search for a Financial Advisor. This is a full-time, permanent position for a leading Canadian owned insurance company with over 70 years of success. The successful candidates will be motivated, eager to learn and goal driven.

*This role has the security of working for a corporation with the benefits of being self-employed!*

Base Salary: $45K - $70K (plus bonus and commission - $80K to $125K)

Responsibilities Include:

• Candidate will be responsible for planning, prospecting, and growth of assets undermanagement (AUM) within the wealth portfolio.
• Will manage the entire wealth portfolio reporting directly to ownership.
• Will play a key role in the long-term strategic planning for the financial book of business.
• Complete individual client reviews focusing on life insurance and wealth management growth for existing as well as new clients.
• Support development of agency operation through profitability and sales growth of the wealth portfolio including life, wealth, and estate planning products.
• Develop annual marketing plans outlining strategies and activities and productivity to contribute to over agency sales and growth goals.

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary degree in related field
• Experience/knowledge of the financial services industry (an asset)
• Life License and/or Mutual Funds License or working towards (an asset)
• Must have own vehicle (required)
• Must have clear criminal background and good credit
