We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our lean and innovative consultancy.

We are a small consultancy providing Finance and Accounting support and Reconciliation Services to a number of B2B and B2C brands in the digital space. These services mainly support customer payments at high volume.

The successful candidate will collaborate with and support the finance team to ensure that external clients’ financial and compliance objectives are met. In this role, you will work closely with cross- functional teams to work cross-functionality to develop business cases and analyze key financial KPIs to determine initiative viability. Additionally, the Financial Analyst supports the development of new processes and new reporting to better understand the client’s financial landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in financial planning & analysis, finance/accounting, and business analysis to provide accurate and exceptional forecasting & management reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

· Work with cross-functional teams and leaders to support the development and implementation of improved management reporting, forecasting and analysis tools used to understand business results and enable financial and management reporting.

· Identify, quantify, and address risks and opportunities

· Assist with preparing various financial analysis and presentations for senior leaders

· Deliver standardized monthly reporting for management including revenue and cost analysis, perform budget reviews (actual vs. budget) forecasting and business analytics, highlighting trends and performing variance analysis.

· Prepare monthly fee reports by analyzing and summarizing account trends and activity

· Support the development of new processes and new reporting to better understand the financial landscape

· Identify and execute ad hoc analysis that deepen business insight and drive value

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.

· Minimum 3 year of related experience in data analytics, management reporting, financial analysis.

· Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to interact with cross-functional business teams.

· Data-driven with the ability to analyze and review numbers and trends to support key business decisions.

· Highly developed business and financial acumen to drive business performance, embracing change and innovation.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills (including advanced Excel, Tableau).

· Motivated individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to adapt to changing business needs and multi-task changing priorities.

· SQL, Python skills as an asset
