Position Summary:

The Server is responsible for serving guests at one of our food and beverage outlets while providing outstanding guest service. This could include casino floor, buffet, lounge, banquets or room service.

Key Accountabilities:

·Welcomes guests to table

·Ensures the quality of the food and service

·Stocks and cleans as assigned

·Ensures beverages are prepared according to house policies and adheres to all Liquor and Health policies

·Settles guests accounts

·Assists in reducing costs and waste

·Practices up-selling techniques to increase revenues

·Assists with the daily management of Food and Liquor Inventory Systems

·Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Education and Qualification Requirements

·Grade 10 education or suitable combination of education and experience

·Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

·Computer literacy in MS Office: POS experience

·Minimum one year serving experience

·First Nations experience an asset

·Other languages an asset

·Criminal Record Clearance mandatory

Work Environment Considerations

· Regular and restaurant environment, non-traditional work hours, standing and walking for long periods of time; lifting and carrying
