We are currently seeking a Web Developer to support our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, enthusiastic, and driven professional. They should be comfortable communicating with others in a team environment and able to work directly with clients.
Preference will be given to candidates within the Eastern time zone.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and code WordPress & Shopify websites, landing pages, and other website components
- Skilled application of coding skills in various languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, Twig/Timber and Liquid (as required)
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative and digital projects throughout the entire lifecycle
- Work with team lead and clients to provide detailed project updates and notes to keep projects moving efficiently, within scope, and on-schedule
- Connect with web design and development team members when necessary to ensure projects meet or exceed all client expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets related to website performance, including but not limited to layout bugs/glitches, forms and email deliverability, and speed optimizations
- Ensure safe and secure websites with recurring maintenance tasks
- Support colleagues in sales, SEO, paid ads, and content with web scoping, web implementations, speed & performance optimizations, and web-related one-time and recurring tasks where necessary
Skills Required:
- Proven WordPress Web Development experience.
- Mobile and Accessibility first design & development skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge and experience in developing with Bootstrap
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with popular CMSes such as WordPress, Shopify etc.
- Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) front-end/back-end integrations
- Familiar with WPML multilingual setup and integration
- Familiar with Timber/Twig template language
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Pixel perfect layout to build conversion with attention to the Q/A and testing process
- Experience with Figma, Confluence a plus.
