La Diperie was born from a growing desire to offer a product that is original, of higher quality, attractive to the eye, and delicious. This role is an incredible and fun job designed for individuals who love being part of a team, but don’t mind working alone for part of the day as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent communication with customers.
• Keep the work environment fresh and clean.
• Able to work independently or as a team member
• Answer phone & questions about ice cream (soy, dairy, non-dairy)
• Prepare ice cream scoops, waffle cones, all foods in the shop while creating a friendly, energetic atmosphere for customers.
• Responsible for personal bank - ensured accuracy of all financial calculations and returned appropriate change; maintained adequate cash for making change
• Communicate with team members on shop performance and provided feedback for further shop improvements.
• Go above and beyond for guests and coworkers for exceptional service.
• Perform opening/closing duties by tidy up store, mopping, and cleaning tabletops and floor.
• Clean as you go, with attention to detail, while staying organized throughout your shift.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Dedication to cleanliness and organization
• Great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions with precision as well as give great attention to detail
• Have access to a phone that can text and make calls
• Have access to the internet
• La Diperie Ice Cream is a tobacco-free company
• Soft Serve Skills (Ice Cream Cone making) will be considered an asset

COMPENSATION

• $15-$17/hour + 50% tips starting wage with incremental, merit-based raises
