Position Description

We currently have an exciting role for an Industrial Mechanic/Maintenance Worker and Operator to provide services in our Cornwall location.

Position Responsibilities

We are looking for a mechanic based out of our Cornwall location to service and repair our machinery in a plant setting. Ideal candidates should be mature, responsible individuals prepared to work on their own.

Experience in process machine maintenance in a production environment would be an asset. Specific knowledge in hydraulic systems, power transmission, diesel engines/fleet maintenance and mobile equipment repair would also be an advantage. A valid AZ or DZ license is NOT required but would be taken into consideration. Must have own tools with specialty tools made available by the employer.

Duties

• Troubleshooting, servicing and repairing process equipment.
• Troubleshooting, servicing and repairing sanitation truck hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting, servicing and repairing loader and skid steer hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Operating skid steers and loaders.
• Daily preventative maintenance including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Preparing maintenance reports.
• Assisting to develop further preventative maintenance programs.
• Other duties as required.
