Seeking hairstylists; full-time or part-time

The Head Shoppe is one of the salon brands under the parent company, Salon Resource Group. Salon Resource Group is a locally owned group of salons in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, which includes 20 salon locations and 5 different brands: The Head Shoppe, HS Studio Salon Spa, Vitality Medi-Spa, Vibe Medi-Spa and the Hair Design Centre.

Qualifications and requirements:

· Carry a valid CANS license in hairdressing

· 2 years of experience as a hair stylist

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to provide own tools and equipment

· Have a positive, mature attitude

· Flexible schedule - some evening and weekend availability

Duties and responsibilities:

· Provide clients with a variety of hair services including but not limited to cutting, color application, highlights, balayage, relaxers, perms, styling, etc.

· Provide client consultations and home care recommendations

· Prepare station before each shift

· General cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping, cleaning of station, etc.

Hourly rate ranges from $14.00 to $28.00 per hour based on approximately 30 hours per week and client demand.
