Eden Gardens is a non-profit Long-Term care home, supporting the community since 1979, and specializing in caring for people living with Dementia. With 130 full time residents we have been working extra hard to keep them safe, and happily occupied during this COVID pandemic.

With 130 residents, this location opened in the spring of 2017 and the home features dementia friendly neighborhood design, with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces. This home is currently on track to become a leader in Dementia Care, and has completed Accreditation Canada's Standards stringent requirements, receiving Exemplary status, the highest ranking available.

Education, Training and other requirements:

Current Registrations as a Practicing Licensed Practical Nurse with College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia

Certification in Gerontological Nursing preferred.

Additional education and experience in the care of persons with Dementia.

Knowledge of the Community Care Licensing Regulations.

Proficiency in using computers including email, electronic documents, assessments and records

Current Basic First Aid and CPR.

Part-time hours: 27.5 per week

Salary: $28.43-$34.37 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff must be vaccinated with 2 doses to work in long-term care. Medical masks are worn at all times, infection control training is completed with employees. PPE training available & supplies provided.
