Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Specialist
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Length of Assignment: Permanent
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 + bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Design manufacturing processes for new launches
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Design the production layout
- Lead ongoing continuous improvement projects
- Responsible for all APQP activities
- Capacity planning
- Provide input during feasibility and capability studies
Qualifications:
- 4-7+ years of related experience is required
- 4+ years in the automotive industry is required
- Engineering degree or equivalent is a strong asset
- Ability to recommend and implement process improvements
- Strong understanding of APQP and FMEA
- Experience working with design and simulation software is an asset
- Ability to make recommendations and lead process improvement initiatives
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
