We are searching Immediate/Urgent hire for a Marketing Specialist to join our Brand team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

The Marketing Specialist is part of a dynamic team of professionals who collaborate to inspire meaningful engagement through the delivery of strategic and brand-aligned content. In addition to producing digital, television, radio and out-of-home advertising, the Brand Team provides marketing, communications, service excellence and sales support to retirement living campuses and long-term care communities across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario. The Marketing Specialist is passionate about measuring the impact of every campaign while ensuring clarity of message and brand differentiation. The Marketing Specialist provides support for corporate sales and marketing initiatives, coordinates site advertising, contributes to content strategy and ensures content across digital and print media is current, consistent, and optimized.
In this role, you will:
Be the main point of contact and primary coordinator for all Retirement Living site advertising requests, writing copy and coordinating design for paid marketing initiatives
Provide marketing support by planning, producing, and distributing monthly communications, managing all marking and sales collateral to ensure current and ready for distribution
Provide support with marketing and sales events, ensuring a consistent and brand-aligned booth experience, coordinating merchandise and required materials
Create and update content to improve the digital journey for visitors to Retirement Living websites
Design, build and test digital journeys (including marketing automation use cases), tracking digital activity using dashboards including Google Analytics and Data Studio to improve the lead and resident experience
Apply research and data, competitor intelligence, target audience knowledge and industry best practices to develop campaigns, materials and strategies for optimal performance
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:
Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising and/or Digital Commerce.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with prior experience in CRM/CMS, Google Analytics, SEO and Microsoft Forms.
At least two years' experience in similar role
Licenced driver and ability to travel occasionally
