Mechanical Maintenance Technician - 8 days on 6 days off rotation. Job at Nicola Clean Power
Nicola Clean Power is a 40MW power generating plant. Operating under a 30 year contract with BC Hydro we burn Hog Fuel to produce power for the BC Grid. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance and reliability of the plant’s rotating and mechanical equipment, processes and hardware. The Mechanical Maintenance Technicians will create, establish and perform daily preventative maintenance tasks on the plant’s equipment and facilities. In addition, they will make adjustments and repairs to production equipment in cooperation with Operations and Engineering to assist with resolving persistent issues, focusing on plant reliability and optimizing uptime.

Salary: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Experience:
- millwright: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
