MCS is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Non-Ferrous Foundry General Labourer
Job Description & Duties:
· Use various tools and equipment under supervision.
· Grinding/sandblasting excess materials from raw castings.
· Gain and display a sufficient working knowledge of foundry related equipment and operations.
· Quality control awareness of completed parts, taking corrective action as advised by foundry supervisor.
· Maintain operational cleanliness as appropriate as part of ongoing safety requirements for workers and machinery.
Required Skillset:
· 2-4 years experience of general shop labour working with similar machinery.
· Clear and effective communication skills in English.
· Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction by supervisor.
· Ability to read blueprint drawings
Additional Information:

· All employees are expected to carry out their job duties in a manner reflecting health and safety best practices.
· Current hours of operation are Monday to Friday, five days per week, 8 hours per day. This includes one unpaid half hour lunch and two fifteen minute breaks. It is understood the position may require a varied work schedule, including overtime, as defined by required orders, labour shortages, or weather conditions (overnight pour).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $24.00 per hour
