FG Deli Group Ltd. located in Langley BC, is the progressive leader in the manufacturing of premium, Quality, European meat products. Our Langley facility produces leading product lines such as Grimm’s and Freybe, within the Premium Brands group of companies.
FG Deli is currently recruiting for a reliable, hardworking, flexible individual with a great attitude and strong office skills to join our Operations team as an Operations Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a detailed, process-oriented person who is eager to take initiative in a challenging fast paced environment.
This full-time position reports to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for assisting many departments with day-to-day operational aspects relating to production, packaging, and distribution. This role is multi-faceted, the successful candidate will be required to prepare reports, analyze data and be comfortable working with multiple software applications. The Operations Coordinator is an integral part of the operations team and must be able to work well within a team environment.

Essential Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Strong knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Experience with data management including entry, analysis, and data manipulation.
- Experience in purchasing; including building vendor relationships, product research, inventory management and production planning.
- Must be highly organized with a high attention to detail and be able to think critically and evaluate problems.
- Ability to prioritize, manage conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexible and able to work overtime as required.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with multiple software applications to enter, pull, analyze, and manipulate data.
- Organize meetings including booking boardrooms, sending invites, tracking preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.
- Work with the purchasing and finance departments to ensure invoices are submitted and payments are processed as required. This will include matching invoices with required backup documentation, researching products available for purchase, building vendor relationships, managing inventory and planning based on production.
- Work with HR and payroll departments to ensure timecards are correct, updated and submitted on time; track and enter time off requests and approvals.
- Plan, organize and track employee programs and events.
- Work with various brands and operations staff to coordinate sample requests, product launches, discontinuations, adjustments, and exports.
- Work with the schedulers to plan productions, create and maintain schedules and open and close jobs.
- Provide backup for other team members when they are out of the office.
- Work with the administrative team to setup and tear down company events and/or tours.
- Liaise between departments to effectively provide information and advise the teams of important developments, changes, or potential issues.
- Provide a variety of administrative and support services upon manager’s request.
- Assist with and support team projects and duties as required.
