Overview:

Nexion Travel Group – Canada is seeking an Operations Specialist to assist in growing our business in the Canadian marketplace by being the liaison between our internal teams and our membership.

This position is remote. Ideal candidate will be close London, Ontario but not required.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-level support of processes and systems required to operate in the Nexion environment
  • Manage BSP airline carriers
  • Assist with commission research
  • Manage regulatory licensing and registrations in applicable provinces
  • Maintain agency ACTA, CLIA and IATAN lists
  • Manage advisor sales for cross-border transactions
  • Process local mail and other administrative transactions
  • Manage member communications, including alerts and intranet updates
  • Liaise with Business Development and Education Team
  • Research and analyze best methods and practices relative to the achievement of specified goals
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in the travel industry
  • Superior customer service traits
  • Preferred knowledge of Trams and Clientbase Online
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
