Reporting to the manager of the Pharmacentre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will practice to the full scope of your profession, providing MedsChecks, injections, pharmaceutical opinions, prescription extensions where appropriate. You will work with the other healthcare professional in the hospital and community to ensure superior patient outcomes. As a team member in a teaching hospital it will be expected that you precept pharmacy students on an annual basis.
Using a fully computerized integrated dispensing system you will work with the other members of the pharmacy team to serve our patients at the highest of customer service standard. This will include: patient counseling of prescription and OTC products, facilitating special order request and other related services.

You will assist with the supervision of support staff and assist with the training and/or orientation of personnel to the Pharmacentre.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- License to practice in Ontario.
- Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada Exams
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) an asset
- Injection Trained
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong clinical experience and knowledge required
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
