Retail Merchandiser Job at McKenzie Seeds
What will you do?
- January set-ups of displays at retail locations (such as Walmart/Lowes/Home Depot/Canadian Tire)
- Visit assigned retail locations in your territory on a weekly/biweekly basis. (February- June)
- Maintain displays by stocking and packing out products to ensure customers find what they need through out the growing season.
- Connect with garden center managers/store managers to build your relationship around our trusted brand.
- Enjoy working in a fun, dynamic and self driven work environment.
- End of season tear down and scan out of product at some locations. (July/August)
Requirements
- Must live in territory and have a general knowledge of the area.
- Must have a Drivers License and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed door to door)
- Must own CSA approved steel-toed footwear.
- Must have a smartphone/tablet.
- Detail oriented and results focused individual.
- Proven effective decision making and problem solving skills while working independently.
- Must be physically able to lift boxes up to 50lbs and have some aptitude at building displays.
- Computer aptitude and a high level of comfort working with Excel.
- Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
