As a Revenue Growth Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating promotions and pricing plans for Canada. This position will assess the performance of the Combustible portfolio and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness of pricing and trade activity.

Responsibilities include performing ROI and profit analyses along with evaluating current and proposed promotional activity and trade spending. Additional functions will include collaborating with others to make strategic recommendations and supporting other revenue growth management initiatives. This is a strategic, highly developmental position within the organization.

Your day to day

  • As Revenue Growth Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of Commercial Financial Results: You will be supporting Senior Management and Head of Combustible in the annual revenue growth planning process by channel and brand family across various geographies/markets. Acting as a business partner with commercial leaders to drive implementation of channel strategies, track results and turn learnings into actions/solutions.

  • You will be developing data tools /processes to provide insightful recommendations to commercial teams via extensive analysis across Price, Promotion, Assortment and Trade Terms; Generates market insights to support revenue strategy and other business strategic initiatives. Leverage consumer insights, data, tools and analytics to Identify and capture opportunities in maximizing profit and revenue growth

  • You will be embedding Value Management in all relevant commercial planning processes and provide inputs to support business decisions, like commercial reviews, business planning and budgeting, etc.

  • Analysing and managing KPIs: Developing and tracking KPIs that are anchored to market strategies and must-win-battles like rate of sales, profitability, ROI, relative price, customer/portfolio profitability

  • You will also be analyzing the product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide trade spend recommendations by setting up tools and processes for in-market optimization. Evaluating ROI and identifying opportunities to maximize value and reviewing commercial spending to identify risks, gaps, opps

  • Lastly you will be applying predictive modelling to promotions management and implementing trade promotion optimization techniques and tools to get ahead in revenue growth management

What we’re looking for

University degree in business degree or other relevant disciplines (e.g., mathematics, economics)
Minimum 8 years experience in retail/FMCG/relevant industry, preferably in the area of business intelligence or sales planning or commercial finance.
At least 3-5 years of prior revenue management experience required."

  • Analytical skills: Proficient in MS Excel, strong numerical/quantitative sense, quick in extracting insights from charts; BI/programming knowledge is a plus
  • Stakeholder Management: Understand complex business context; Ability to influence in/external partners at all levels, with various backgrounds and expertise
