Job description – Sales Associate
Global Pet Foods Brantford is looking for a Part-time Sales Associate!
If you are enthusiastic, passionate, love people and animals and have great customer service skills, this is the job for you!
We are currently seeking1 sales associate. Successful applicants will ideally start immediately.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· store opening/closing
· greeting and assisting customers with their pets
· receiving stock and organizing inventory/counting inventory
· reading and creating documentation pertaining to store operations
· cashing out customers using our POS system
· learn about pet nutrition and product information
· maintaining the store's cleanliness
Requirements:
· Available to work weekends and evening shifts
· Able to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively
· Able to climb ladders in a safe manner
· Ability to converse with a variety of people with respect and patience
· Love for all animals, especially dogs and cats
· Previous retail experience preferred
