HJV’s staff has also grown in numbers from an initial half dozen employees to a team of 125 full time employees. Job Duties:
Diagnose & repair all related systems on agricultural equipment including diesel engine, manual & automatic transmissions, electrical, emission control systems & drive train using computerized & other testing equipment
Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance & to meet manufacturer’s specifications
Perform equipment inspections & preventative maintenance including fluid & filter checks & changes, lubricating equipment & testing batteries
Keep maintenance records
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems
Experience with modern farm equipment such as tractors, combines, sprayers & seeders an asset
Ability to operate equipment for diagnostic purposes
Proficient with diagnostic equipment
Skills Requirements/Level of Education Required:
Some secondary school education
Skill Requirements/Work Experience:
3-5 years of related experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician. Completion of Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Diploma will be considered an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
