Job Summary

Our Edmonton branch is currently seeking a Shop Helper to join our team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated individual who is capable of working independently or as part of a dynamic team, who also enjoys working with tools.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate the slitter (belt cutting machine), accurately handle and operate smaller power tools (i.e. drill, sander, etc.) and forklifts.
• Maintain accurate belt inventory through proper cut allocation and product placement throughout the warehouse.
• Keep warehouse tidy and clean at all times.
• Assist shipping/receiving department.
• Assist belt/field tech on job sites.
• Assist in fabricating large belts in shop.

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, willing to work overtime as required
• Good math and analytical skills
• Skilled in using your hands
• Understanding of inventory management
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Vehicle an asset
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
