Our company is growing! AGF Rebar Inc. is presently seeking a Shunt Truck Driver for our unionized Scarborough location for the afternoon shift!

Pay: $26.30 per hour as per the current collective agreement.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Safely shunting of trailers from the yard in to and out of warehouse;
• Secure and strap down loaded material;
• Conduct vehicle inspections such as systems, lighting, tires, breaks, etc.;
• Document and report any technical or maintenance problems to the Supervisor;
• Report to the Production Manager regarding final shipment, customer satisfaction or issues;
• Complete daily driver logs;
• Ensure compliance with AGF – Rebar Inc.’s Health & Safety policies in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• AZ Driver’s Licence;
• 1-3 years’ experience;
• Ability to plan and finalize trips without supervision;
• Completion of High School or equivalent;
• Must be able to provide a driver’s abstract.
