Shuttle Driver – Casual Positions
PWTransit is currently seeking multiple Shuttle Drivers throughout the Greater Toronto area for casual on-call work. There is no guarantee of hours. This position is responsible for driving our drivers to pick up empty shuttle buses around various points in the GTA. The driver would be driving a company SUV.
This is a casual on-call position offering approximately 400 hours annually, perfect for an individual who is retired or semi-retired. The successful candidates would have to be available for a minimum of 3 days per week. Most shifts take place between the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Hours may occasionally occur outside of the hours mentioned.
Wage: $20 per hour
Position Requirements:
- Valid G driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Clear drivers abstract
- No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Operator position
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent driving skills and habits
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shuttle and pick up drivers in various locations across the GTA
- Drive safely and responsibly and be prepared for all road and traffic conditions
Selected applicants will be required to participate in a comprehensive recruitment process which consists of interviews, trainability session, drug and alcohol screening, criminal record and reference checks
