We are seeking some proven, Registered Nurses (RPN or RN) to fill some of the Staffing demand with our facility partners in the Cornwall, Winchester & Alexandria areas. Due to Covid, you will be assigned to 1 dedicated facility and we will build a schedule around YOUR availability to satisfy the hours required to keep a good Work/Life balance. (Days, Evenings & Nights)

As a Registered Nurse (RN or RPN) for NurseNextDoor Frontenac Lanark & Seaway Valley, you will be able to fill Registered Nurse shifts inside 1 of our LTC or Retirement Facility partners, while still participating in some homecare clients activities of your choice. The balance is what makes NurseNextDoor such an ideal employer and such a rewarding environment to work in.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

• Clearly articulates Nurse Next Door’s value proposition and unique offerings and engage with facility care team in order to offer residents the best care possible under your Registered Nurse scope of practice.
• Following orientation inside the facility, you will be required to work within the facility's expected daily activities and guidelines as a trusted member of their team.

REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

• Registered Nurse licence entitled to practice with no restrictions (RN or RPN)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work in teams and also work autonomously, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Thorough and accurate attention to detail in day to day activities
• Baseline understanding of the Canadian Healthcare landscape an asset
