Customer Care Liaison

Customer Care, Low Rise
REPORTS TO:
VP of Client Services – Low Rise Division
LOCATION:
Downtown Toronto Area
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Head Office
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrator to complete all tasks pertaining to the purchaser experience before closing
- Understanding Tarion Statement of Critical Dates Addendum and how to execute notices (delay ,advancement or strikes)
- Diarizing critical dates – formal zoning, early termination conditions, occupancy date
- Project specific communication requirements –, floorplan changes, delay notices
- Contract related requests – amendments to the purchase agreement, extensions
- Move up/Accelerations - coordinate with construction regarding achievable date
- Attend weekly meetings for updates on lot specific progress
- Dealing with our lawyer's office – follow up with details for closing that maybe required
- Responsible for Purchaser requested delay check with decision maker whether extension is granted
- Administration coordinating paperwork to match with Construction delays
- Check for compliance with Tarion rules
- Format and send letters, knowledge on how to mail merge
- Update internal team, lawyer's office, and system with delayed dates
- Coordinating with different departments to assist our purchaser
- Missing/incorrect items in home during construction
- Efficiently complete all necessary documentation and reports as needed
- Work closely with construction, trades and all other personnel and assist as needed
- Assisting Purchasers with all Tarion Warranty related inquires and concerns
- Customer service focused with the ability to resolve problems effectively
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
- Handle all incoming (including telephone) inquiries from Purchasers, along with all emails
- Any other duties, as assigned.
COMMUNICATION/INFLUENCING OTHERS (Contacts)
This position requires both written and verbal communication skills to communicate with both internal (construction, customer liaison, Design Studio) and external (homeowners, trades, and lawyers).
CUSTOMER SERVICE
This position provides services to both internal and external stakeholders. Relationships with trades, Construction team, Design Studio, management, and purchasers must be built and maintained to ensure overall quality and construction compliance in accordance with construction documents and brand standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
- Experience in construction industry
- Independent and trustworthy
- Highly organized
- Knowledge of Tarion procedure Addendum requirements and delays
- Team oriented and supportive
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY
This position has no supervisory and/or budgetary authority.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
- This position works in an indoor environment in front of a computer, phone calls and other administrative tasks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Siting at a computer and answering phone calls all day
