The Opportunity (Role Summary)

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Developer with experience in working with Google Analytics 4 to join our team. As a key member of our consumer facing mobile app development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytics solutions that will provide valuable insights and help drive data-driven decisions.

What you will do (Responsibilities)

The base responsibility

• Collaborate with the development team to identify analytics requirements and implement analytics tracking using Google Analytics 4.
• Design and develop custom events, dimensions, and metrics in Google Analytics 4 to track user behaviour and measure app performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Google Analytics 4 to monitor app performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Take care of configurations, user management and data privacy.
• Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights that can help drive product improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in analytics development and make recommendations to improve our analytics capabilities.
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to analytics development, including tracking specifications, code documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize app performance and user engagement.
• Work with other developers and data analysts to build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

What You’ll need (Required Qualifications) Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing analytics solutions using Google Analytics 4.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development and mobile app analytics best practices.
• Experience in designing and developing custom events, dimensions, and metrics in Google Analytics 4.
• Proficient in analyzing data and developing insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Power BI, etc
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with other analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL is preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
